Book a visit
Come and see her.
We are delighted you are considering The Pilgrims Rest. Book a visit in person — or, if you live further afield, a virtual tour — and the wedding team will be in touch.
Getting here
Right next to the Abbey, behind the rose garden.
You can’t miss her: the timber-framed house beside the gatehouse at the bottom of the High Street.

By train
Battle station is a 12-minute walk. Trains run via Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks to London Charing Cross, and the other way to St Leonards and Hastings.
By car
East Sussex has no motorways — part of its beauty. From the M25 take the A21 to Battle, turn left at the roundabout with King Harold’s sculpture and right when you see the Abbey gatehouse.
By air
Gatwick is the nearest airport.
Where to stay
No rooms on site: hotels, B&Bs and Airbnbs are a short walk away in Battle, some with parking — nobody needs a taxi.
